Virtual Sarcoma Second Opinion
(VSO)

A structured medical second opinion program designed to clarify diagnosis, confirm staging, and guide the correct treatment pathway for sarcoma patients.

Who should use this service

This review is appropriate if:

• You are newly diagnosed with sarcoma
• Your biopsy report is unclear or conflicting
• There is confusion about surgery, chemotherapy, radiation or targeted therapy
• The disease has recurred or spread
• The tumor is rare, unusually located, or surgically complex
• You feel your current plan is incomplete or uncertain

How your case is reviewed

Every case is reviewed in three medical layers:

1. Clinical Review

Your complete clinical story is studied — including symptoms, timeline, treatments received, and current status.

You may submit:
• A written summary
• Or a voice note explaining your case (which will be converted into a medical record)

2. Pathology Review

We study your biopsy and laboratory findings:

• Histopathology report
• IHC report
• Molecular / genetic reports (if available)

If digital pathology slides are available, they can be reviewed by a sarcoma pathologist.

3. Radiology Review

We analyze your original scan data (DICOM format):

• MRI
• CT
• PET-CT

This allows actual image interpretation — not just reading written reports.
